Kolb's Learning Styles

Kolb’s learning styles are defined by an individual’s relative preference for the four modes of the learning cycle described in experiential learning theory: Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimentation. These learning styles can be assessed by the Kolb Learning Style Inventory (2005). Nine distinct learning style patterns have been observed: experiencing, diverging, reflecting, assimilating, thinking, converging, acting, accommodating, and balancing. Every student learns differently.

Ano ang Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Test?

Ang Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency Test o A&E Test ay isang programa sa ilalim ng Bureau of Alternative Learning System ng DepEd. Ang mga makakapasa dito ay makakakuha ng certification katumbas ng dalawang learning levels - elementary at secondary (o high school).

Katumbas din ito ng regular na pag-aaral.

Ang A&E Test ay paper and pencil-based at may mga multiple-choice na tanong at pagsulat ng essay. Ang mga tanong sa A&E Test ay ayon sa limang learning strands ng ALS Curriculum:


  1. Komunikasyon sa Filipino - Communication Skills
  2. Paglutas ng Problema at Kritikal na Pag-iisip - Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
  3. Pagiging Produktibo at Tamang Pamamahala ng Yaman - Sustainable Use of Resources/Productivity
